This page explains, in plain language, what data idaportfolio.com collects and why. This is a personal portfolio site. It doesn't sell anything, doesn't run ads, and doesn't use third-party analytics or tracking pixels.
The site writes one value to your browser's localStorage: a date string (ida_notify_date) used to avoid sending more than one visit notification per day. It contains no personal information and isn't used for tracking across sites. No cookies are set.
The first time you load the site each day, your browser sends a request to a small serverless function so I get a one-line email letting me know someone viewed the portfolio. That request includes:
Your IP address is used only momentarily, in server memory, to avoid sending duplicate notifications for the same visitor in a short window. It is not logged or stored anywhere.
The "Message Ida" link opens your own email client (mailto:). Nothing is submitted through this site. Links to LinkedIn and OnlineJobs.ph take you to those platforms, which have their own privacy policies.
The notification email above is delivered using Resend, an email API provider. No other third-party service receives data from this site.
